Stephanie Alaska Quilici
February 11, 1981 – March 30, 2021
While we feel deep sorrow at Alaska’s passing, she would want us to revel in our happy, joyous memories of her. Alaska traveled the country and touched the lives of so many people. We are blessed to live in a time where we can take full advantage of the technology presented to us. Therefore we are asking you, who are scattered about far and wide, to join us online for a celebration of Alaska’s life, Sunday April 18 at 2pm Pacific. [click image for event link] or watch embedded video below starting at 2pm.
For those who can watch on Facebook, please RSVP to this live event where the entire service will be streamed. You can watch on your computer or via the Facebook app.
If you cannot watch on Facebook, or if you would like to participate in the service and have some time “on stage”, up to 100 people may join our Google Meeting. The format will be that of a Quaker Friends meeting where anyone can raise their hand to speak once the ceremony has started.
Those who are savvy may choose to prepare music, video, or other multimedia presentations as part of the service. If you would like to present, or contribute media, please join 30-60 minutes early so we can plan some logistics and work out any audio or video problems in advance.
There is also a Facebook message group which was created in the last days of her life to offer support and share memories. Please click here to join that group and post your own photos or videos or memories in advance of the ceremony on Sunday.
